A mobile app for travel agencies and tour operators: documents, the trip and the next tour on one phone.
Not every agency needs an app, but for a tour operator or a network with a large base it covers what a website cannot: vouchers and tickets on the phone without internet, contact with the guide and manager during the trip, push offers on last-minute deals and early booking to those who have already travelled.
A traveller opens their phone at three moments: choosing a tour, preparing for the trip and during the trip itself. A website covers the first well, WhatsApp partly covers the second. But at Antalya airport without roaming, the traveller is digging through chats for the voucher, the guide's number and the transfer time. An app keeps all of this offline and makes the agency part of the trip, not just the point of sale.
For a tour operator or a large network, an app is a repeat-sales channel. A traveller who gets a push “early booking for Turkey, departing from Astana, 12-month installments” comes back without a paid click. Bonuses for repeat trips and referrals work when the base is thousands of travellers a year.
For hajj and umrah, an app solves a separate task: the group programme by day, the escort's contacts, guides in Kazakh and Russian, group gathering notifications. A small single agency is usually fine with a website, a CRM and WhatsApp — we will tell you honestly if an app will not pay back yet.
What a travel agency app includes.
Tour search by departure city, dates and budget, favourites, a request or a booking with Kaspi Pay payment and Kaspi Red installments.
All trip documents — voucher, flight tickets, insurance, transfer — available offline, with reminders about departure and deadlines.
Messaging with an assigned manager in the app or via WhatsApp, history of requests and offers.
Notifications about last-minute deals and early booking for destinations the traveller viewed or has visited.
For umrah, hajj and sightseeing groups — a day-by-day schedule, meeting points, guide contacts and guides.
Points for trips and inviting friends, personal discounts on the next tour, regular client status.
Family passport details, passport expiry with a reminder, hotel and meal preferences — the manager does not ask again.
Russian and Kazakh interface, notifications and guides in the chosen language.
App screens.

- Tour search with filters
- Tour and hotel card
- Booking and payment
- My trips and offline documents

When an app pays back for a travel agency.
An app starts at ₸2,500,000 and needs ongoing support, so the maths starts from your client base. In our experience and according to market data, it makes sense when:
- you send several thousand travellers a year and a significant share travel again;
- you have several offices or departure cities and a single client base;
- you are a tour operator or sell group programmes — umrah, hajj, sightseeing tours — where documents and contact during the trip matter;
- someone will run push campaigns and offers, not just launch the app.
If not, it is cheaper to start with a CRM for travel agencies and WhatsApp broadcasts and return to the app once the base grows.
A PWA and a Telegram bot as the first step.
A PWA is a web app installed on the phone from the website: tour search, “my trips” with documents, notifications on Android. It starts at ₸1,200,000 and is built on the same backend a native app will later use.
A Telegram bot — last-minute deals by destination subscription, request status, trip documents. It fits if your audience is already on Telegram.
A native iOS and Android app — when offline document access, reliable push on iPhone, payments and bonuses matter. We build in Swift and Kotlin and publish to the App Store and Google Play under your company's account.
What affects the price of an app.
An iOS and Android app with tour search, booking, offline documents, chat and push — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA with search and “my trips” — from ₸1,200,000. A tour operator app with an agency portal, bonus programme and group programmes — priced after a brief.
The price grows with tour operator API integrations, offline mode, payments and installments, the bonus system, group programmes and a Kazakh version. Support and update releases are separate, usually monthly. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.
The short version.
How much does an app for a travel agency cost?
A native iOS and Android app starts at ₸2,500,000, a PWA at ₸1,200,000. The exact amount depends on tour operator integrations, bonuses and offline mode; we give an estimate after a brief.
Can tours be booked right in the app?
Yes, if the tour operator provides a booking API for agencies. If not, the app sends a request with the chosen tour to the CRM, and the manager confirms the booking and sends a payment link.
Will documents be available without internet?
Yes, vouchers, tickets and insurance are stored on the phone and open without a connection — one of the main reasons to build a native app rather than a website.
How long does development take?
From 8 weeks for the first version: search, requests, my trips, push. Bonuses, group programmes and the agency portal usually come in a second stage.
Who owns the app in the stores?
Your company: we publish to the App Store and Google Play under your developer account and hand the source code over to you.
