Design that makes the product clear, not just pretty.
We design interfaces for websites and apps, from prototype to a design system in Figma. We think about the user, about conversion and about the developer who will build it, so the design never has to be 'simplified in the build'.
Who it is for
- Companies that need a design for a landing page, website or app before development, with us or with their own team.
- Products with a working interface that users do not understand: a redesign driven by data, not taste.
- Startups that need a prototype to test the idea and present to investors.
- Teams with an inconsistent interface that need a design system.
What you get.
We look at how users solve the task today, what competitors do and where enquiries are lost in the analytics.
Screen structure and logic without visuals. We test the scenarios on it, which is cheaper than in the design.
A visual language for your brand: typography, colour, grid, components. No templates and no 'same as everyone' stock illustrations.
Built to the Human Interface Guidelines and Material 3: system patterns the user already knows.
Phone, tablet, desktop. In Kazakhstan most people are on a phone, so that is where we start.
Components, styles and rules in Figma. New screens come together in hours and the interface stays consistent.
Tidy layouts, states, specifications. If we do the development, the design takes the stack into account from the start.
Icon, screenshots for the App Store and Google Play, ad banners.
What we do not do in design.
We do not draw 'unique' screens that cannot be built quickly and that break on real data. We do not add animation for animation's sake: it is expensive to develop and gets in the way on low-end phones. We do not copy templates from Dribbble: they look good in a picture and are awkward to use.
What we do: a clear hierarchy, large text, obvious actions, loading and error states, dark mode where it is needed. We check the design against real copy: Kazakh and Russian words are longer than English ones, and the layout has to cope.
From enquiry to result.
- 1Brief
Task, audience, competitors, brand, what already exists. Estimate the next day.
- 2Prototype
Screens and scenarios in low fidelity. One or two rounds of revisions.
- 3Concept
The visual language on 2–3 key screens. We agree the direction once.
- 4All screens
The full set of screens and states, responsive versions, design system.
- 5Handover
Specifications, components, support for developers with questions about the layouts.
What affects the price.
A landing page design is ₸150,000–300,000 and 1–2 weeks. A corporate website with 10–15 page templates is ₸300,000–600,000. A mobile app with 15–25 screens and a design system is ₸400,000–900,000 and 2–4 weeks. Redesign is priced by the number of screens.
If we do the development as well, the design is part of the overall estimate and usually costs less: some decisions are made directly in code on the design system.
We do this for ourselves too.
The interfaces of 1Study, 1Work and this website were designed by us. Users open the school app in 1Study every day without any training, which is the best test an interface can pass. For clients we have designed websites for a media group, a construction company and a textile distributor, and 3D landing pages. See our case studies.
The short version.
How much does website design cost?
A landing page from ₸150,000, a corporate website from ₸300,000, an app from ₸400,000. The estimate comes after a brief.
Can we order just the design and have our own team do the development?
Yes. We hand over Figma layouts with components and specifications and answer the developers' questions.
How many rounds of revisions?
Two rounds each on the prototype and the concept, included in the price. After that, revisions are usually cosmetic. If the task changes, we price it separately.
Do you do logos and brand identity?
A basic logo and style, yes, as part of a website or app project. Full branding with a brand book is done through partners.
Can you do a redesign without redrawing everything?
Often, yes. We look at the analytics and session recordings, find the 3–5 screens where users drop off and rework those. It is cheaper and faster than a full redesign.
Need a design? Show us what you have and we will suggest where to start.
Tell us what we are designing, a website, an app or a redesign, and whether you have a brand book. We will send an estimate the next working day.
