How we work: five steps from enquiry to launch.
The process is the same for a landing page in a week and an app over six months — only the length of the stages changes. Every step ends with a result you can look at, not a report.
- 1Brief
You describe the task in the form or a messenger. We ask about the business, customers, competitors, integrations and deadlines. It takes 15–30 minutes of messaging; a call is optional.
- 2Estimate and plan
Within 1–2 working days we send an estimate with stages, deadlines and payment dates. For complex projects, a short 2–3 page specification. The estimate is fixed in the contract and does not grow along the way.
- 3Design and structure
A prototype and the design of key screens in Figma, copy and page structure built for SEO. We sign off once, as a whole, so nothing gets redone during development.
- 4Development in sprints
We work in weekly sprints, with a link to the test version every Friday. You see progress and correct course before anything drifts too far. Integrations (Kaspi, 1C, CRM) are connected with live keys.
- 5Launch and support
Domain, SSL, analytics, Search Console, publication in the App Store and Google Play. Then a warranty period and support by subscription: monitoring, backups, updates, improvements.
What happens at each stage
Brief
We do not run “discovery calls” to sell. Instead, we ask questions that matter: who your customers are, where they come from, what should happen on the site or in the app, what it integrates with, what the deadline and budget are. If the task does not suit us, or a ready-made service would solve it more cheaply, we say so straight away.
Estimate
The estimate is a table of stages, hours and amounts. We allow for real volumes rather than “risks”, so there are no surprise charges along the way. If you want to add a feature mid-project, we price it separately and agree what to do: extend the deadline or swap something out of the plan.
Design
First a prototype — structure and copy without imagery. That is the easiest place to check the logic. Then the design of the key screens. We do not draw “all 40 pages” up front: standard pages are built from a component system, which is cheaper and faster.
Development
The code lives in a GitHub repository, and you have access from day one. The test version is updated every week. For mobile apps, builds arrive through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
Launch
Before launch, a checklist: speed, mobile version, forms, analytics, structured data, backups. The site goes live on your domain; the app is published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts (we help set them up).
Payment and paperwork
A contract with IE "1APP", Almaty. Projects up to a month: 50% at the start, 50% on delivery. Longer projects: payment by sprint or by stage. Subscription services (SEO, advertising, support): monthly, with completion certificates. Payment by bank transfer against an invoice, or through Kaspi.
What we need from you
One person who makes decisions and replies within the day. Access to the current site, ad accounts and domain — or your agreement that we set up new ones in your name. Materials: logo, photos, copy — or an interview from which we write the copy ourselves.
The short version.
How long does the brief take?
Usually 15–30 minutes of messaging in Telegram or WhatsApp. For mobile apps and web services, one more hour-long call to go through the user scenarios.
Can we change the task along the way?
Yes. We price new features separately and agree what to do: move the deadline, increase the budget or drop something less important. The estimate for the original scope does not change.
How does acceptance work?
Against the checklist in the estimate: every item is a verifiable result. You test on the staging version, we fix what you flag, then we roll out to the live domain.
What if we want to continue with another contractor?
All access, code and documentation are yours from the very beginning. Handover takes a day: we show the new contractor how the project is put together.
