Mobile app for car service centres: full history for every vehicle and customer returns without cold calls.
An app makes sense for a service network or detailing club with a database of thousands of vehicles: service history in the customer's phone, a push notification about the next service, loyalty points for visits and two-tap booking bring customers back more cheaply than advertising. For a single shop we'll honestly recommend a PWA or a WhatsApp bot.
The core value of a car service app is vehicle history always at hand for the customer: what was replaced, when, at what mileage, what the technician recommended. This removes the owner's main fear — "they'll rip me off" — and creates loyalty to a specific shop.
For a network of locations, the app solves the single-brand problem: one login, all branches, one loyalty programme, one vehicle history regardless of which location the customer visits. A push notification about an upcoming service or seasonal tyre fitting is more precise and cheaper than an SMS broadcast.
We build native apps with our own backend and a management dashboard. Our experience includes our own products 1Study and 1Work: apps with bookings, payments and notifications used daily by thousands of people.
What a car service centre app must include.
All visits, work performed, replacements, technician recommendations and mileage for each of the customer's vehicles. The customer sees the history; the shop has context for the next visit.
Choice of service, location, technician, date and time; reschedule and cancel; confirmation and push reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before.
Push notification when mileage approaches the next oil change, tyre-fitting reminder 3 weeks before the season, notification about recommended work from the last visit.
The customer sees in real time what stage their car is at: received, diagnostics, repair, ready, collected. Reduces the number of "so how's my car?" calls.
Points for every visit, loyalty tiers, referral invitations with a bonus for both parties, promotions for cardholders.
Kaspi Pay inside the app, payment history, work orders and invoices — all on the phone without needing to call the shop.
Messaging with the service advisor, photos and videos of defects before the visit, approval of additional work with photos directly in the app.
Schedule, vehicle database, segmented broadcasts, repeat-visit and revenue statistics by location for the manager.

Honestly: who won't recoup the cost of an app.
A single shop with 3–5 bays usually doesn't need an app: customers won't install it for a visit twice a year. Booking, reminders and vehicle history are all covered by a website with online booking and a CRM with WhatsApp at 10–15% of the cost of an app.
An app pays off for a network of 3+ locations with a database of 3,000–5,000 vehicles, a loyalty programme and regular services. If you're somewhere in between, we'll recommend a PWA: the same functionality in the browser without App Store publication, 2–3 times cheaper than a native app.
How we build it and how long it takes.
Brief and screen prototype — 1–2 weeks. Design — 2 weeks. Backend development, iOS and Android, 1C and Kaspi Pay integration — 6–10 weeks. Publication on the App Store and Google Play with our moderation support — 1–2 weeks. Total: from 8–10 weeks to the first version; after that we iterate based on usage data and the team's requests.
What affects the price of the app.
A native iOS and Android app for a service network with vehicle history, booking, reminders and Kaspi Pay — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA version without the app stores — from ₸1,200,000. Ongoing support and development — under a separate agreement.
Price increases with: 1C integration without a ready-made API, real-time repair status, a tiered loyalty programme, multiple locations with different price lists. Base terms on the mobile apps page.
The short version.
How much does a car service centre app cost?
A native iOS and Android app — from ₸2,500,000; a PWA without the app stores — from ₸1,200,000. Timeline from 8 weeks. We provide a quote after the screen prototype.
Will the app work with our existing management system?
Yes, if the system has an API (1C, Автодилер and others). In that case vehicle history and work orders sync automatically. Without an API we set up scheduled data export.
Can customers pay via Kaspi?
Yes, Kaspi Pay for service payments and booking deposits; Kaspi instalments via a redirect to the Kaspi app. Kaspi commission at your contracted rate.
How do you motivate customers to install the app?
A bonus for first-time registration, access to vehicle history only through the app, a discount on the next visit. We promote it at vehicle handover and via a WhatsApp broadcast to the database.
Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?
We do, in your name: we set up developer accounts (Apple — $99/year, Google — $25 one-time), handle moderation and publish updates.
