App for property developers: a buyer portal before handover and a residents' service after it.
A buyer waits years for the keys and wants to see what is happening with their apartment and payments. After handover they become a resident who needs maintenance requests and guest passes. An app covers both stages and keeps the relationship with the buyer for the next phases.
A developer has two long stages with each buyer. The first is from contract to keys: the buyer wants to see progress on their building, the instalment schedule, documents, the handover date and to book an apartment inspection. Today that means calls to the sales office and dozens of WhatsApp chats.
The second is living in the building. If the developer runs its own management company, residents need repair requests with photos, service payments, passes for guests and couriers, barrier access, votes and news. A well-run service after handover is an argument for buyers of the next projects and a source of repeat sales and referrals.
We build native apps in Swift and Kotlin with our own backend and admin panel, integrated with 1C, CRM and access control systems. To start, a PWA buyer portal without store publishing is often enough.
What a developer app needs.
Apartment, contract, documents and deal status in one place; notifications at every step from contract registration to handover.
Photos and videos for the buyer's building, live cameras, completion percentage and planned handover date.
Developer instalment schedule, reminders, payment via Kaspi Pay, history and receipts.
Booking an inspection, a defects checklist with photos, fix status, signing the acceptance act.
Plumbing, electrics, lift, cleaning — request with photo, progress status and rating of the work.
Guest and courier passes, opening barriers and gates, integration with access control and intercoms.
Management company announcements, outages, meetings and resident polls, offers on parking and storage units.
Users, buildings and apartments, requests and resolution times, mailings, reports for management.

Honestly: when an app will not pay off.
If you have one project on sale and no management company of your own, you usually do not need an app: sales tasks are covered by a project website and CRM, and buyers are fine with a web portal. A PWA buyer portal with construction progress, documents and payment schedule starts at ₸1,200,000 and runs in the browser without stores.
A native app pays off with several projects, completed buildings with thousands of apartments and an in-house management company: then the app saves dispatchers' work, reduces calls and becomes a sales channel for parking, storage units and apartments in later phases.
How we build it and how long it takes.
Brief and screen prototype — 1–2 weeks: we map the roles (buyer, resident, management staff, sales team) and data sources. Design — 2 weeks. Backend, iOS and Android development, integration with 1C, Kaspi Pay and access systems — 6–10 weeks. Publishing to the App Store and Google Play with review support — 1–2 weeks. In total from 8–10 weeks for the first version; the management module can launch as a second stage by the handover of the first building.
What affects the price of an app.
An iOS and Android app with buyer portal, construction progress, payments and maintenance requests — from ₸2,500,000, 8+ weeks. A PWA buyer portal without stores — from ₸1,200,000. Support and development — from ₸60,000 per month.
The price goes up with: 1C integration without a ready exchange, connecting access control and barriers from different vendors, several projects and management companies with different tariffs, legally binding votes. Base prices are on the page mobile apps.
The short version.
How much does an app for a property developer cost?
A native iOS and Android app starts at ₸2,500,000, a PWA buyer portal at ₸1,200,000. Timeline from 8 weeks. We give an estimate after the screen prototype.
Can buyers see their payments from 1C?
Yes, with an exchange set up with 1C the app shows the contract, schedule, paid and upcoming payments. Payments via Kaspi Pay go back to 1C automatically.
Do we need our own management company for the residents' module?
Preferably: requests, payments and passes work when someone fulfils them. If the building is handed to a third-party company, the app can stay a buyer portal and a developer news channel.
Will residents install the app?
They do when it is useful every day: a courier pass, the barrier, a plumber request. We suggest installing it at key handover together with instructions.
Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?
We do, on behalf of your company: we set up developer accounts (Apple — $99 per year, Google — $25 one-off), pass review and release updates.
