App for furniture makers: measurements, installations and order status without calls to the office.
A furniture workshop's customer almost never needs a separate app — they buy a kitchen once a decade. But measurers, installers and customers waiting for their order call the office all the time. An app for the field team and an order status page for the customer take that load off.
In the furniture business a mobile app solves an internal problem, not a marketing one. The measurer arrives on site, writes dimensions on a sheet of paper, photographs the walls on a personal phone and forwards it all to the designer on WhatsApp. The installer does not know which set to bring or what details were agreed with the customer. A mistake in one dimension costs a remade front or worktop.
An app for the field team puts it all in one place: a schedule and route of measurements by district, a measurement template per furniture type, photos and videos attached to the order, an installation checklist, a sign-off form the customer signs on screen. The data goes straight to the CRM and the designer.
For the customer, an account or PWA with order status is enough: design approved, in production, ready for delivery, installation date. This cuts “when will my kitchen be ready” calls and negative reviews.
What a furniture maker's app does.
Requests from the CRM are assigned to measurers by district, the daily route is built in 2GIS or Google Maps, the customer gets the visit time on WhatsApp.
Separate forms for a kitchen, wardrobe, walk-in closet: walls, openings, sockets, pipes, extractor hood. Required fields make sure no key dimension is missed.
Pictures of walls and utilities are attached to the order; the designer sees them immediately, without forwarding through messengers.
Parts list, site specifics, agreements with the customer; the installer ticks off completed items and photographs the result.
The customer signs the acceptance form on the phone screen, comments are recorded with photos — the basis for complaints and warranty.
Design, production, delivery, installation — the customer sees the stage and date and gets a notification when the status changes.
A Kaspi Pay link for the remaining balance after installation, with payment marked in the CRM.
Measurements and photos are saved in a basement or new-build without internet and sent once there is a connection.

When you do not need an app.
If you have one or two measurers and up to 20–30 orders a month, a separate app will not pay off. The same job is done by a CRM with the amoCRM or Bitrix24 mobile interface, a measurement template as a form and WhatsApp notifications to the customer when the status changes — ₸350,000–1,000,000 instead of millions.
Your own app makes sense when the field team is 5+ people, orders run into dozens a month, and measurement errors and lost agreements noticeably hit the margin. Then we start with a PWA from ₸1,200,000: it runs in the phone browser, installs to the home screen and does not need app store publishing. A native iOS and Android app starts from ₸2,500,000 if you need full offline work and a camera with dimension markup.
A measurement should reach the workshop without retelling.
The most expensive mistakes in custom furniture happen at the hand-offs: the measurer wrote one thing, the designer drew another, and a third went to cutting. The app is valuable because measurement data is structured and stored in the order card, not in chats.
We connect the app to the CRM and, where an API exists, to 1C and design software: dimensions go to the designer, the approved design to production, the ready date back to the CRM and the customer. If the design software has no API, we set up file upload and download in the order card so everyone has one current version of the project.
What affects the price of the app.
A PWA for measurers and installers with measurement forms, photos and sign-off forms starts from ₸1,200,000, 6–8 weeks. A native iOS and Android app with offline mode, customer account and Kaspi payments starts from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. Integration with 1C and design software is estimated separately after reviewing their API.
The price goes up with: the number of roles (measurer, installer, designer, customer), offline mode, integrations, publishing to the App Store and Google Play. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.
The short version.
How much does an app for a furniture maker cost?
A PWA for the field team starts from ₸1,200,000, a native iOS and Android app from ₸2,500,000. First we check whether a CRM with a mobile interface would do the job.
Do customers need an app?
A separate customer app in the stores — usually not: furniture orders are too rare. An order status link or a customer account on the website is enough.
Will it work on site without internet?
Yes, measurements, photos and the sign-off form are saved on the phone and sent once there is a connection. This is common in new-builds.
Can it connect to Базис-Мебельщик or PRO100?
Directly — if there is an export or API; more often we attach design files to the order and export the specification. We decide after reviewing how you work.
How long does development take?
A PWA takes 6–8 weeks, a native app from 8 weeks, plus 1–2 weeks for store publishing. We launch the first version with one or two crews, then roll it out to the whole team.
