An app for kids' centres: parents see the timetable, payments and progress without group chats.
In a centre with dozens of groups, parents live in WhatsApp chats: a rescheduled class gets lost among messages, payment reminders are manual, event photos take a week to find. An app puts all of this in one place. For a single centre we will honestly suggest a cheaper route — a CRM with WhatsApp or a ready platform.
A kids' centre app is primarily a tool for parents who have already bought a membership. The child's timetable with reschedules and cancellations, attendance and classes remaining, a two-tap renewal via Kaspi, a short teacher report and photos from class. Everything that is now scattered across chats and calls to the administrator.
For a private kindergarten it is also daily contact: drop-off and pick-up check-ins, menu and nap, absence requests, group announcements, monthly bills. For a branch network — a single login, a shared loyalty programme and a sibling discount.
We build native apps in Swift and Kotlin with a backend and admin panel. If your centre is mainly educational — school readiness, languages, courses, online lessons — look at 1Study first: our platform for education centres with a student app and Kaspi payments, launched without building from scratch.
What a kids' centre app needs.
Groups, teachers, rooms and branches; reschedules and cancellations arrive as push notifications instead of getting lost in a group chat.
Classes remaining, expiry date, renewal payment via Kaspi Pay, payment history and receipts.
Teacher check-ins, advance absence notice, booking a make-up class in another group, freezing a membership during illness.
Short teacher feedback, photos and videos from class visible only to parents of that group, results and achievements.
One account per family, sibling profiles, sibling discount, a shared bill.
Drop-off and pick-up check-ins, menu, nap, absence requests, group announcements, monthly bill.
A trial in another group, summer camp, intensives — sales to current parents without ads.
Groups, timetable, mailings, renewals, churn and occupancy by branch and teacher for the manager.

Honestly: when an app won't pay off.
A single centre with 10–20 groups usually does not need its own app: reminders, payments and renewals are covered by a CRM with WhatsApp and Kaspi payment links for a small fraction of the development cost. If classes are educational and some lessons are online, it is faster to connect 1Study — a ready platform with an app.
A custom app pays off for a network of 3+ branches or a private kindergarten where parents open it every day: check-ins, menu, bills, reports. A middle option is a PWA: the same features in the browser without store publishing, noticeably cheaper than a native version.
How we build it and how long it takes.
Brief and screen prototype — 1–2 weeks: we walk through the parent's and administrator's journeys with you. Design — 2 weeks. Backend, iOS and Android development, CRM and Kaspi integration — 6–10 weeks. Publishing to the App Store and Google Play — 1–2 weeks with our support through review. It pays to release the first version for the start of the school year: in September parents are more willing to install a new app along with a new membership. To make September, start the brief in May–June. In total from 8–10 weeks, then we develop it further based on usage data.
What affects the price of an app.
A kids' centre or kindergarten app on iOS and Android with timetable, memberships, Kaspi payment and reports starts from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA without stores starts from ₸1,200,000. Support and development — from ₸60,000 a month.
The price goes up with syncing to an industry system without a ready API, make-ups and freezes with rules, a kindergarten module with check-ins and menus, and several branches with different price lists. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.
The short version.
How much does an app for a kids' centre cost?
A native iOS and Android app starts from ₸2,500,000, a PWA without stores from ₸1,200,000. Timeline from 8 weeks. We give an estimate after the screen prototype.
Can parents pay for memberships in the app via Kaspi?
Yes, via Kaspi Pay: renewals, single classes, camp. Kaspi Red instalments work by handing over to the Kaspi app. The fee depends on your Kaspi plan.
Why is an app better than WhatsApp groups?
Important things don't drown in chat: a rescheduled class arrives as a push, photos are visible only to the group's parents, payment and classes remaining are always in view. Teachers don't answer private messages in the evening.
We are an education centre. Is there a ready solution?
Yes, 1Study — our platform for education centres with a student app and Kaspi payments. For courses, languages and school readiness it is usually faster and cheaper than custom development.
Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?
We do, on your behalf: we set up developer accounts (Apple — $99 a year, Google — $25 one-time), pass review and ship updates.
Same service for other industries
A centre network or private kindergarten? Tell us about your groups and parents — we'll say whether an app will pay off.
Tell us the number of branches and groups, how many children attend now and where you keep the timetable and payments. We reply with an estimate and screen prototype within 2–3 business days.
