A mobile app for jewelry stores: a regular customers' club in the phone.
An app pays off when a chain has several stores and thousands of regular customers: a catalog with reservations, bonuses, custom order status and a holiday push cost less than ads. For a single store we will honestly suggest a catalog website with WhatsApp or a PWA.
Jewelry is bought rarely, so an app does not live on the phone by itself — it needs to give a reason to open it: a personal discount, bonuses from the last purchase, a new collection, the status of a ring being made, an anniversary reminder. Without a loyalty program and a base of regular customers, the app gets installed and forgotten.
For a chain of stores the app replaces the plastic card and mailings: the customer sees bonuses, purchase history with weight and fineness, item certificates and warranty in one place. The catalog shows availability at the nearest store, and a piece can be reserved for a fitting or paid for via Kaspi.
We build apps natively in Swift and Kotlin or with Flutter — the choice depends on budget, timeline and requirements for catalog animations. The app is connected to 1C and the CRM so bonuses and history match what the cashier sees.
What a jewelry chain app includes.
The same categories and filters as on the website, plus availability at the nearest store and a shareable favorites list.
Reserve a piece at a chosen store for 1–2 days, a visit reminder, a route in 2GIS.
A card in the phone, bonuses and tiers, personal discounts for birthdays and anniversaries, purchase history.
Production statuses: sketch, 3D model for approval, casting, stone setting, ready for fitting; payment by stage.
Electronic receipt, fineness, weight, gemstone certificate and warranty card for every purchased piece.
New collections, selections for March 8, Nauryz and New Year, reminders about important dates the customer saved.
Kaspi Pay and Kaspi Red, card payment, deposits for orders and reservations.

When a jewelry store does not need an app.
For a single store with a few hundred buyers a year, an app will not pay off: only a handful will install it, and ₸2,500,000 plus support equals several months of ads. A catalog website with reservations, a CRM with WhatsApp reminders and Instagram work better here.
An app makes sense if at least two conditions are met: several stores or cities; a base of several thousand regular customers; a loyalty program with bonuses currently run on plastic cards; a flow of custom orders where customers constantly ask for status. A middle option is a PWA from ₸1,200,000: it opens from the browser and can be added to the home screen, with no store publishing.
How we build it and how long it takes.
- Analysis — 1–2 weeks: loyalty program, reservation and order scenarios, data in 1C, sales staff roles.
- Design — 2–3 weeks: the catalog and product card, where photo presentation matters, then the other screens; a prototype on the phone.
- Development — 5–8 weeks: the app in Swift and Kotlin or with Flutter, backend, sync with 1C and the CRM, Kaspi payments.
- Testing and publishing — 1–2 weeks: device testing, App Store and Google Play.
- Launch in stores — QR codes at checkout and on tags, a bonus for installing, staff training; then support.
How much a jewelry chain app costs.
An iOS and Android app with catalog, reservations, loyalty, order statuses and Kaspi — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA without store publishing — from ₸1,200,000. Support and development — from ₸60,000 per month.
The price goes up with: 1C sync without a ready API, complex bonus rules, custom orders with 3D model approval in the app, several cities with different prices. Base prices are on the page mobile apps.
The short version.
How much does a mobile app for a jewelry store cost?
A native or Flutter app for iOS and Android with catalog, loyalty and Kaspi starts at ₸2,500,000. A PWA starts at ₸1,200,000. We refine the estimate after analysis.
Will customers install the app?
Only if it gives them a benefit: bonuses, a personal discount, order status. That is why we launch the app together with a loyalty program and offer to install it at checkout.
Can bonuses be moved from plastic cards?
Yes, if bonuses are tracked in 1C or another system with export: we transfer the balance by phone number, and the customer sees it right after signing in.
Native or Flutter?
We do both. Native in Swift and Kotlin gives a smoother catalog and animations, Flutter gives one codebase and a faster launch. The choice depends on budget and tasks, we discuss it during analysis.
Is there a cheaper alternative?
A catalog website with reservations and WhatsApp, or a PWA. More on website for jewelry stores and CRM with reminders.
