App for construction companies: clients see their project status without calling the site manager.

An app makes sense for a developer or large contractor with dozens of simultaneous projects and an ongoing client base: a personal account with construction progress, on-site photos, documents, and online stage payments. For companies with individual orders, we will honestly recommend a website with a client account or a PWA.

The client's main pain during construction is uncertainty: what is happening on site, will deadlines hold, when is the next payment due. A personal-account app addresses that pain: weekly on-site photos, stage status, online documents and acceptance certificates, and a notification when the next payment is due. The client is calm; the site manager is not answering the same calls ten times a day.

For a developer with a residential complex, an app also solves stakeholder relationship management: construction progress, project news, documents, a chat with the manager, and installment payments. This reduces the load on the sales team and builds loyalty before handover.

We build native apps and PWAs with our own backend and admin panel. Our experience with long transactional workflows comes from our own products 1Study and 1Work, where thousands of payment and notification operations are processed every day.

When you don't need it

Honestly: who won't recoup the cost of an app.

For a contracting company with 5–20 projects per year, an app is usually unnecessary: clients will not install it for a single 8-month project. Communication and document management tasks are covered by a website with a client account and a CRM with WhatsApp at 10–20% of the app's cost.

An app pays off for a developer with a residential complex of 100+ units, or a large contractor with an ongoing client base of 200–300+ people and regular repeat orders. If you are somewhere in between — we will propose a PWA: a client account in the browser without app store publishing, 2–3 times cheaper than a native app.

Timeline

How we build it and how long it takes.

Brief and screen prototypes — 1–2 weeks: we define client and admin scenarios. Design — 2 weeks. Backend, iOS and Android development, 1C and Kaspi integration — 8–12 weeks. App Store and Google Play publication — 1–2 weeks with our moderation support. Total: 10–14 weeks for the first version; features are expanded based on real usage data.

Price and timeline

What affects the app price.

An app with a client personal account, project status, documents, and Kaspi Pay on iOS and Android — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA version without app stores — from ₸1,200,000. Support and updates are covered by a separate agreement.

Price increases with: 1C integration without a ready API, a developer apartment catalog with floor plans, multiple user roles (client, site supervisor, manager, executive), and offline mode for on-site use without internet. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.

Questions

The short version.

How much does an app for a construction company cost?

A native iOS and Android app — from ₸2,500,000; a PWA without app stores — from ₸1,200,000. Timeline from 8 weeks. We provide a quote after the screen prototype.

Can the app be integrated with our 1C?

Yes, if 1C has a REST API or a suitable data exchange module configured. In that case, estimates, certificates, and payment stages sync automatically. Without an API, we set up manual document upload via the admin panel.

Will clients actually install the app?

They do when it delivers real value: seeing on-site photos every week, paying stages without visiting the office, having all documents at hand. We motivate installation at contract signing — the moment when the client is most engaged.

Can stage payments be accepted through the app?

Yes, via Kaspi Pay. The commission follows your Kaspi tariff. Payment is tied to a stage and CRM status: the manager sees the receipt without making calls.

Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?

We do, under your name: we register developer accounts (Apple — $99/year, Google — $25 one-time), go through moderation, and support updates.
