App for event agencies and recurring events: programme, tickets and guest communication on one phone.

An app pays off for a recurring conference, a festival or an organiser with a regular audience: ticket, programme, venue map and a push about a room change on the guest's phone. For a one-off corporate party we'll honestly suggest a PWA or an event page.

Reminder: tomorrow at 10:00

For an event, an app solves tasks a website can't. At a conference a guest needs the schedule by room, speaker cards, a personal agenda and a push that a talk has moved. At a festival — an offline ticket, a site map, the line-up by stage and food court payments. For an organiser with recurring events — a permanent base that can be told about the next concert without an ad budget.

The event team gets a separate part — the door scanner: staff check QR tickets from a phone, including offline, and the organiser sees how many guests have entered in real time.

We build apps natively (Swift, Kotlin) or in Flutter — the choice depends on timeline, budget and scenarios; with our own backend and admin panel. Ticket sales and QR control can come from our product 1Ticket instead of being built from scratch.

What it needs

What an event app needs.

Tickets and entry

Purchased QR tickets in the app, offline access, transferring a ticket to another person with a reissued QR to prevent duplicates.

Programme and rooms

Schedule by day, stage and room, filter by track, a personal agenda with a reminder 10 minutes before the start.

Speakers and artists

Cards with photos, topics and performance time, social links, talk materials after the conference.

Push and announcements

Room changes, programme updates, doors opening, the headliner starting — messages to all guests or by ticket segment.

Venue map

Plan of halls and zones, entrances, food court, cloakroom, first aid; for off-site events — a route via 2GIS.

Networking

Opt-in conference attendee profiles, meeting requests, chat and contact exchange — what people buy business-event tickets for.

Kaspi payments

Buying tickets, upgrading the category, merch and food court via Kaspi Pay; receipts via an online cash register.

Scanner and admin

A separate mode for door staff, entry stats by zone, programme and messaging management for the organiser.

When you don't need one

Honestly: who won't get a return on an app.

An agency doing corporate parties and toi to order usually doesn't need its own app: each event has different guests, and nobody installs an app for one evening. Enquiries are handled by a portfolio website and a CRM, tickets and entry by an event page and 1Ticket.

An app pays off for a recurring conference with thousands of attendees, a multi-day festival, or an organiser who runs events every month and wants their own audience base. For a one-off conference we'll suggest a PWA: programme, speakers and ticket in the browser without store publishing, 2–3 times cheaper.

Timeline

An event app is tied to the event date.

Unlike a regular product, an event app has a hard deadline — opening day. So we plan backwards from it: screen prototype — 1–2 weeks, design — 2 weeks, backend, iOS and Android development with tickets and Kaspi — 6–10 weeks, App Store and Google Play publishing — 1–2 weeks with a buffer for review.

In total you need to start at least 3 months before the event; releasing a month before opening gives guests time to install and you time to send invitations. If the event is less than two months away, a PWA is the honest choice.

Price and timeline

What affects the price of an app.

A conference or organiser app for iOS and Android with tickets, programme, push and Kaspi — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA for a one-off event without stores — from ₸1,200,000. Support and updates for each new event — from ₸60,000 per month.

The price goes up with: networking with chat and meeting scheduling, offline tickets and scanner, a seating plan with seat selection, multiple events with different programmes, food court and merch payments. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.

Questions

The short version.

How much does an event app cost?

An iOS and Android app — from ₸2,500,000, a PWA without store publishing — from ₸1,200,000. Timeline — from 8 weeks, so we start at least 3 months before the event.

Native or Flutter?

We build natively (Swift, Kotlin) or in Flutter. For an event app with a hard deadline Flutter is often the better deal — one codebase for iOS and Android; native when an offline scanner, a complex map or maximum performance matter.

Will the ticket work without internet at the venue?

Yes, the QR ticket is stored in the app and shown offline; the door scanner also works without a connection and syncs entries once the network is back.

Can one app be used for different events?

Yes, and that's the right approach for an organiser with recurring events: one app, events and programmes change in the admin panel, and the guest base grows and receives announcements of the next events.

Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?

We do, on your behalf: we set up developer accounts (Apple — $99 a year, Google — $25 one-time), go through review and build in a buffer for it before the event date.

Discuss a project

Planning a conference or festival? Give us the date and guest count — we'll tell you if an app is feasible in time.

Tell us the event date, expected attendance, whether there's a multi-room programme and how tickets are sold. We'll reply with an estimate, timeline and screen prototype within 2–3 business days.

We reply during working hours, usually within a couple of hours.
