An app for barbershops: booking with your barber in two taps and bonuses for every visit.
An app pays off for a chain or franchise with thousands of regular clients: repeating the last booking with one button, a haircut reminder, memberships and bonuses keep the client inside the chain even if he moves to another district. For a single location we'll honestly suggest a booking widget and WhatsApp.
A barbershop client goes to the same barber for the same service. So the ideal booking is a «same as last time» button: same barber, same cut, nearest free slot. An app turns this habit into a system: a push three weeks later, booking in two taps, a bonus per visit, no chatting with the front desk.
For a chain or franchise the app solves another task — it keeps the client inside the brand. One account for all locations, bonuses and memberships work at any branch, and if a barber leaves, the client sees which colleague to book instead of following the barber out.
We build apps natively (Swift, Kotlin) or with Flutter — the choice depends on the budget and feature requirements. The app comes with a backend and an admin panel for the manager, and booking syncs with YClients, Altegio or your system via API.
What a barbershop app needs.
Repeat the last booking with one button, choose branch, barber and time from the real schedule, reschedule and cancel.
The barber's profile with work, reviews and nearest slots; a notification when he has free time.
A push after the interval the client chose — 2, 3 or 4 weeks, an appointment reminder the day before and 2 hours ahead.
Points for visits, every Nth haircut free, discounted haircut packages, a family profile for father and son.
Buying and sending a gift card to a friend in the app, tracking balance and redemption.
Kaspi Pay for prepayment, memberships and gift cards, tips for the barber if the client wishes.
A barber rating after the haircut; high ratings get an invitation to review on 2GIS, low ones go to the manager.
Push campaigns by branch, promotions, revenue and client retention by location and barber.
App screens.

- Home: next booking, «repeat» button, bonuses
- Booking: branch → barber → service → time
- My barber and his work

- Branches on the map
- Profile and notifications
Honestly: who won't get a return on an app.
A single location with 3–6 chairs usually doesn't need an app: a YClients or Dikidi booking widget, a website and WhatsApp reminders do the job for 10–20% of the cost. Clients won't install a separate app for one barbershop if they can book in two clicks from Instagram.
An app pays off for a chain of 3+ locations or a franchise with several thousand regular clients, where there are bonuses, memberships and different branches. A middle option is a PWA: booking, bonuses and gift cards in the browser without store publishing, from ₸1,200,000.
How we build it and how long it takes.
Brief and screen prototype — 1–2 weeks. Brand-style design — 2 weeks. Backend, iOS and Android, booking-system and Kaspi Pay integration — 6–10 weeks. Publishing to the App Store and Google Play with review support — 1–2 weeks. In total, from 8–10 weeks for the first version.
Before starting we check your booking system's API: what data it returns, whether bookings can be created and free slots seen. This determines whether the app writes bookings directly into the schedule or through an intermediate backend with front-desk confirmation.
What affects the price of the app.
An app for a barbershop chain on iOS and Android with booking, bonuses, memberships and Kaspi Pay — from ₸2,500,000, from 8 weeks. A PWA without the stores — from ₸1,200,000. Support and development — from ₸60,000 per month.
The price goes up with: native development instead of Flutter, a complex bonus programme, a franchise with different prices by city, booking-system integration without a ready API, tips and gift cards. Base prices are on the mobile apps page.
The short version.
How much does a barbershop app cost?
An iOS and Android app — from ₸2,500,000, a PWA without the stores — from ₸1,200,000. Timeline — from 8 weeks. We give an estimate after the screen prototype.
Native or Flutter?
We do both. Flutter gives one codebase for two platforms and suits booking and bonuses; native (Swift, Kotlin) is chosen when performance and deep system integration matter. We decide after the brief.
Will the app work with our YClients?
Yes, via the YClients or Altegio API: the app shows barbers' real slots and creates bookings in the schedule. For other systems we first check what they allow.
Will clients install the app?
They do when there's a benefit: a bonus for installing, a free haircut for visits, booking faster than in WhatsApp. We suggest the barber offers installation in the chair — that way every regular client sees it.
Who publishes to the App Store and Google Play?
We do, on behalf of your company: we set up developer accounts (Apple — $99 a year, Google — $25 once), pass review and release updates.
