A website for barbershops: barbers' work, prices and free time on one screen.

A client opens a barbershop website on his phone to learn three things: who to go to, how much it costs and whether there's a slot tonight. We build a site where every barber has his own page with work, and booking with him goes through your booking-system widget or WhatsApp.

A barbershop website is first of all a showcase of barbers. A man chooses not a salon but a barber: he looks at fades, beards and kids' cuts, experience and reviews. So every barber needs his own card with work and a button to book with him specifically, not a shared gallery of stock photos.

The second task is booking without chatting. A client opens the site from Instagram or 2GIS in the evening and wants to see free time immediately. An embedded YClients, Altegio or Dikidi widget handles this, and for those who prefer messaging — WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. A separate booking form that doesn't reach the schedule only creates double bookings.

The third is revenue outside the chair: gift cards and memberships paid via Kaspi Pay, especially before 23 February, Nauryz and New Year. Plus search: pages for services and districts, so the site picks up queries like «barbershop near me» and «beard trim almaty».

What it needs

What a barbershop website needs.

Booking with a specific barber

Booking-system widget with choice of barber, service and time on every screen, a WhatsApp button with pre-filled text. Page and ad tags are kept.

Barber cards

Photo, experience, specialty (fade, beard, kids' cuts, long hair), work feed and reviews. Booking with the barber right from the card.

Services and prices

Men's haircut, clipper cut, beard, hot-towel shave, grey blending, father and son, kids' cut — with price and duration, different prices by barber level.

Gift cards and memberships

Buying a gift card or a haircut package via Kaspi Pay, a PDF card by email or WhatsApp, redemption tracked in the booking system.

Branches

A page for each location: address, 2GIS map, opening hours, barbers at this location, parking and interior photos. Booking goes straight to the right branch.

Reviews and work

Reviews from 2GIS and Google, the barbershop's Instagram feed, process videos. This is the main argument when choosing a new place.

Franchise

For chains — a separate section for future partners: the model, investment, support, an application form into the CRM, separate from client booking.

Two languages and speed

Russian and Kazakh versions with hreflang, loading under 2 seconds on a phone, HairSalon and LocalBusiness markup for every branch.

Site structure

Typical barbershop website structure.

  • Home: offer, booking, barbers, prices, work, address

Landing or website

A one-location page or a chain website.

Barbershop landing page — one page for one location: offer, barbers with work, prices, reviews, map and booking. Takes 1–2 weeks, costs ₸250,000–400,000 and covers advertising and the Instagram bio link.

Chain website — 15–30 pages: branches, barbers, services, gift cards, franchise, two languages. It's the base for district SEO and for selling a franchise. ₸600,000–1,200,000, 3–5 weeks; with a client account and a unified bonus programme — from ₸1,500,000.

If there's one location and it's just opening, it's better to start with a landing page and maps listings, and build the full site when a second location appears.

Mistakes

What stops people from booking on the website.

  • A custom booking form not connected to YClients or Dikidi — double bookings and calls like «we don't see you».
  • A shared gallery without the barber's name: the client liked the cut but doesn't know who to book.
  • Prices «from» without a breakdown by barber level — the client is surprised at checkout and doesn't come back.
  • No address and map on the first screen — for a barbershop, distance decides.
  • Gift cards can only be bought in person, although before holidays people look for them in the evening on their phone.
  • A heavy video on the home page takes 5–6 seconds to load on mobile internet.
Price and timeline

What affects the price of a barbershop website.

A one-location landing with barbers, prices and booking is ₸250,000–400,000, 1–2 weeks. A website with several branches, service pages, gift cards and two languages is ₸600,000–1,200,000, 3–5 weeks. A chain website with a client account, bonuses and a franchise section — from ₸1,500,000.

The price goes up with: the number of branches and barbers, selling gift cards and memberships with Kaspi Pay, booking-system API integration, a Kazakh version, a photo shoot of barbers and the interior. Base prices are on the website development page.

Questions

The short version.

How much does a barbershop website cost?

A location landing is ₸250,000–400,000, a chain website with branches and two languages is ₸600,000–1,200,000, with a client account and bonuses — from ₸1,500,000. We give an exact estimate within 1–2 days after the brief.

Can you embed booking from YClients or Dikidi?

Yes, the booking widget is embedded with choice of branch and barber, and the booking goes straight into the schedule. Via the API we can show a barber's free time right on his card.

How do we sell gift cards on the website?

The client picks an amount or a service, pays via Kaspi Pay and receives a gift card with a code in WhatsApp or by email. The code is redeemed in the booking system, and the balance is visible to the front desk.

Who takes the photos of work?

Usually the barbers themselves for Instagram; we select the best and tag the barber. For the home page and interior we recommend one professional shoot and organise it under a separate estimate.

What about advertising after launch?

We hand over the site with analytics and booking goals. Next — local targeting and SEO for barbershops as separate services.
