Targeted ads for dental clinics: patients from your neighborhood, not clicks from the whole city.
Patients choose a clinic within 10–15 minutes from home or work. We run Instagram and Facebook ads within a radius around the clinic with service-specific offers, capture leads in WhatsApp and CRM, and report the cost per booked patient — not per lead.
In targeted advertising, dental clinics win through geography and offer. Geography: 70–80% of patients live or work within a 3–7 km radius, so showing ads to the whole city means paying for people who will never come. Offer: 'book a dentist' doesn't work; what works is 'professional hygiene with a discount this month', 'free consultation + X-ray', '0-0-12 installment plan on implants', 'children's appointment with a play area'.
The second layer is trust: a video of the doctor explaining a procedure, before/after results, patient reviews. These creatives on Instagram and TikTok cost less per impression and convert better than stock smile photos.
Leads go to WhatsApp or a lead form and are instantly passed to the CRM, where the receptionist calls back within 15 minutes; we then report not on clicks but on booked and attended patients per campaign.
What's included in clinic ad management.
We select 2–4 services with a clear benefit and margin: hygiene, whitening, consultation with X-ray, implants on installments, children's appointment. Each gets its own offer and landing page.
A 3–7 km radius around each branch, overlap exclusions, separate campaigns per branch and neighborhood.
Doctor and clinic videos, consented before/after, reviews, Stories formats. We shoot in-house or work from your materials, testing 6–10 variants.
An inquiry to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message or a lead form passed to CRM in seconds, auto-reply and a task for the receptionist.
Website and Instagram visitors who watched a video but didn't book; a reminder with the offer and social proof.
Lookalike based on the CRM patient base (with consent) — the lowest-cost bookings after the first 100–200 patients.
Meta Pixel, CRM, and call tracking linked together: cost per lead, cost per booking, cost per attended patient, revenue by campaign.
Weekly budget optimization across services and branches; monthly report in clinic terms: patients and revenue.
Campaign structure.
- Campaign 'Hygiene/whitening': radius, ages 25–45, monthly offer
- Campaign 'Implants/prosthetics': 40+, installment plan, doctor video
- Campaign 'Orthodontics': 16–35, aligners and braces, before/after
- Campaign 'Children's dentistry': parents 25–40, near the branch
- Retargeting: website, Instagram, 50%+ video viewers
- Lookalike based on CRM patients
- Separate ad sets per branch
- TikTok test for hygiene and whitening
Healthcare advertising restrictions.
Meta and TikTok restrict medical advertising: you cannot promise treatment results, shame users about their appearance ('crooked teeth are embarrassing'), use before/after in certain formats, or reference personal user characteristics. We write creatives that comply with these rules from the start, pass moderation without account bans, and keep the clinic's license and offer agreement on the landing page.
What a patient from targeted ads costs.
Based on our experience and Kazakhstan market data: a lead for hygiene or consultation — ₸1,500–₸4,000; a booked patient — ₸4,000–₸10,000; an attended patient — ₸8,000–₸20,000, depending on city and competition. For implants a lead costs more — ₸6,000–₸15,000 — but the average bill is tens of times higher. The key variable is receptionist response time: if a reply takes longer than 30 minutes, the cost per patient doubles.
What affects the management price.
Management for one clinic on one platform in one city — ₸150,000–₸250,000 per month; two platforms, multiple branches, or two languages — ₸250,000–₸400,000. Ad budget is paid separately, minimum ₸200,000 per month; in competitive Алматы neighborhoods — from ₸400,000. Setup is included in the first month; one-time setup without ongoing management — ₸150,000.
Doctor video production is quoted separately. General terms — on the targeted advertising page.
The short version.
How much does targeted advertising for a dental clinic cost?
Management from ₸150,000 per month plus ad budget from ₸200,000 per month. In competitive Алматы neighborhoods, budget from ₸400,000. Less than this and the algorithms won't have time to learn.
Which services should be advertised first?
Those with a clear benefit and a quick visit: hygiene, whitening, consultation with X-ray, children's appointment. Implants and orthodontics — in separate campaigns with an installment plan and doctor video; the decision cycle is longer.
How soon will patients come in?
First leads within the first week; a stable cost per patient within 3–4 weeks after campaign learning and creative selection.
Is a website needed for targeted ads?
Not for lead forms and WhatsApp — but a service landing page with a price, doctor, and license improves conversion and passes moderation more easily. We often build a landing page in one to two weeks in parallel with the ad setup.
What do you count as a result?
Booked and attended patients per campaign, their cost, and revenue — via a linked ad account, CRM, and call tracking. Clicks and impressions are not results.
