Website, CRM and ads for veterinary clinics: booking, scheduled vaccinations and urgent cases.

Pet owners look for a vet clinic in two situations: a planned vaccination or neutering — and a night when the dog is unwell. In the first case they compare prices and reviews, in the second they call whoever is open and closest. We build a system for both: a website with prices and booking, pet records in CRM, vaccination reminders and ads in your neighbourhood.

How we build the systemVeterinary clinics
1Ads & SEO2Website3CRM4Repeat sales

A vet clinic runs on two flows. The planned one — vaccination, deworming, tick treatment, neutering and spaying, grooming, dental cleaning: owners choose in advance and look at prices, reviews and the vet. The urgent one — injury, poisoning, birth complications, heatstroke: the decision takes minutes and is based on a search for «24-hour vet clinic» and a 2GIS listing with a phone number and an «open now» label.

The second feature is scheduled repeat visits. A puppy needs a series of vaccinations, an adult animal needs an annual booster and treatments every season. If the clinic itself sends a WhatsApp reminder with the pet's name and the date, the owner comes back instead of going to whichever clinic is on the way. That is why pet records and reminders in CRM bring as much revenue as advertising.

Below is what we do for vet clinics and their pet stores: each direction has its own page with features, integrations and prices.

Typical problems

What vet clinics come to us with.

  • Appointments are kept in a notebook or in the administrator's WhatsApp; vaccination history exists only in the owner's paper pet passport, and nobody reminds them about boosters.
  • At night and on weekends nobody answers, or the on-duty vet is in surgery — urgent cases go to the 24-hour clinic next door.
  • The 2GIS listing has outdated hours and no prices: owners cannot tell whether the clinic works at night or how much a consultation costs.
  • There is no website, or it is a builder page without prices — searches like «cat spaying price Almaty» show competitors.
  • Grooming, pet hotel and pet food sales are tracked separately from consultations — you cannot see how much one owner brings in a year.
  • Ads with photos of sick animals fail Instagram moderation, while «cute kittens» without an offer collect likes but no bookings.
Kazakhstan specifics

What matters specifically in Kazakhstan.

  • 2GIS — the main tool for finding the nearest clinic in an emergency: accurate hours, a 24/7 label, the on-duty vet's phone, consultation prices and replies to reviews directly affect calls.
  • WhatsApp — the main channel for booking and reminders; with the WhatsApp Business API, CRM sends vaccination, tick treatment or check-up reminders with the pet's name automatically.
  • Kaspi — Kaspi Pay for surgery or grooming prepayment, Kaspi Red instalments for expensive surgery and inpatient care; pet food and accessories can be sold via Kaspi Магазин.
  • Two languages — website, reminders and ads in Russian and Kazakh: in Astana, Shymkent and suburbs a noticeable share of owners search for «ветеринар» and «мал дәрігері» in Kazakh.
  • Veterinary law — the Law of Kazakhstan «On Veterinary Medicine» and city pet-keeping rules: the clinic's permits, vet details, terms of service and owners' personal data processing must be on the website.
  • Seasonality — spring and summer bring peaks of ticks, piroplasmosis and vaccinations before trips out of town, New Year means firework stress, summer in Shymkent and Turkistan means heatstroke; ads and reminders are planned around these peaks.
Where to start

The order that pays off fastest.

  1. 2GIS and Google listings — accurate hours, a 24/7 phone, consultation and vaccination prices, clinic photos; it is free and brings urgent calls within a week.
  2. Website with prices and booking — pages for vaccination, spaying and neutering, surgery, grooming, a WhatsApp button and a separate emergency number.
  3. CRM with pet records — visit history, scheduled vaccinations and automatic reminders; brings back your existing owner base.
  4. Local ads — targeting for planned services within 3–7 km and search ads for urgent queries at night and on weekends.
  5. SEO — queries with price and district; results in 4–6 months, without paying for every click.
Owner economics

Why one booking is worth more than it seems.

A first consultation on its own brings little. But an owner who likes the clinic, based on our experience and market data, comes back 3–6 times a year: vaccinations, treatments, tests, dental cleaning, grooming, food and therapeutic diets. Over a pet's life that is dozens of visits, and families often have two or three animals.

Two conclusions follow. Vet clinic advertising cannot be judged by the cost of the first booking — you need to count revenue per owner per year, and that requires a CRM with pet records. And second: the clinic's main loss is not an expensive click but an owner nobody reminded about the booster, who went to the neighbours. WhatsApp reminders cost less than any advertising.

Questions

Questions from vet clinics.

How much does a website for a vet clinic cost?

A landing page for one service (spaying, vaccination, grooming) is ₸250,000–400,000; a clinic website with prices, vets, booking and two languages is ₸600,000–1,200,000. Details on the vet clinic website page.

How do we attract urgent cases at night?

Through a 2GIS listing marked as 24/7 and search ads on «24-hour vet clinic», «emergency vet» shown only during the on-duty vet's hours with a call button. The website must show the emergency number on the first screen.

Do we need a CRM if we already have veterinary software?

Software like Vetmanager or Enote keeps records and appointments, but it does not handle requests from Instagram and WhatsApp and cannot always send WhatsApp reminders. CRM covers the request funnel and messaging, while pet and vaccination data sync with the software so you do not keep two databases.

Which ads should we choose: social or search?

Search ads catch urgent and hot demand («cat neutering price», «vet clinic near me»), Instagram targeting creates a planned flow for vaccinations, grooming and check-ups among pet owners in your area. Management starts at ₸150,000 per month per platform, ad budget separate.

Does a vet clinic need a mobile app?

A single clinic usually does not: booking via the website and WhatsApp reminders do the job. For a chain with a pet store and a large owner base, an app gives pet records, a vaccination calendar, bonuses and food orders. More on the vet clinic app page.
